thank you so much for your reply. i'm so relieved to know that your product doesn't contain gelatin.
the reason why i avoid gelatin is because i'm vegetarian - an ovo-lacto vegetarian, so i'm ok with some cheeses & some milk products.
when i learned about gelatin and what it is, i immediately gave up foods made with this stabilizer. it terrified me 'cos gelatin is derived from the tissues and bones of animals. what's even more heartbreaking for me is when i knew that most yogurts are made with gelatin; yogurt happens to be my favorite.
but i don't have to worry about that now. good thing there's no gelatin in the white hat fro-yo. i'm afraid i might end up feeling deprived after seeing your fro-yo and almost being enchanted to it. i've been wanting to try it the moment i stumbled upon one of your branches in glorietta (rustan's supermarket), but i got to make sure of what i eat first. and i'm glad to know that your fro-yo is not only healthy, but also all natural. ^_^ plus, you've mentioned that the natural stabilizers in your product are made using high-tech machines. wow, the white hat fro-yo sounds like the dessert of the future!
what i finally got to try is the baker's hat combo. it's my very first fro-yo and i absolutely love it even on the first bite! the yogurt itself is light and has a smooth mouthfeel. and of course that tang you get from yogurt is there which gives fro-yo its own identity and sets it apart from ice cream. the combo i chose is such a delight. the blueberries gave it a fresh and fruity punch, the almond clusters provided some crunch, and the homemade cheesecake added some richness. all these made me feel proud of my newfound desert. it looks and tastes so delightful and yummy! made my tummy happy. ^_^ and it's true that after my first fro-yo experience, i couldn't get the white hat fro-yo off my head .
i can't wait for my next fro-yo. i've been telling this to my friend and i want her to experience it as well. she's also vegetarian. we both have a sweet tooth and we love healthy & great tasting food. i'm sure she's gonna love the white hat fro-yo too. i bet we'll be bringing home some of those take-out tubs.
oh by the way, your product design, concept and logo are superb - so pleasing enough to enchant me. i really like the logotype/font and color. the design is as inviting and delightful as the fro-yo itself. i even took the paper cup that contained my fro-yo home with me and kept it as a souvenir. moreover, the fact that your yogurt is Italian, makes me even more fascinated. Italian cuisine and cooking sparked my love and interest in food, so i developed an attitude that if it's Italian, it's gotta be great. =) and so is your fro-yo!
i just can't find anything about your product that i don't like. and i'm so glad that i can eat it! thank you for entertaining my question and for introducing your fro-yo to the market.
